Just like the original 1/4" foot, accuracy is the key to successful patchwork/quilt sewing.
Sewn from center needle position; the edge of the foot provides a perfect 1/4" seam guide.
Or use a needle position slightly to the right of center to achieve the desirable scant 1/4" often requested by quilters. It's the foot that is adaptable to your quilting habits!
