Kizuna quilt entry for Festival of Quilts

I designed and made this quilt myself . It was pieced and quilted on my Janome Memory raft 6700P which I bought about 4 years ago from GUR. I became friends with the fabric designer Lucy. She loved my pattern so much I was gifted 6m of her fabric to use in this quilt. It was displayed at Festival of Quilts in 2024 and in 2025 The Quilters Guild UK chose it as the quilt for the front cover for their 2026 Calendar. I was so very proud to have had my quilt chosen. Could not have done this on any other machine as the 6700P from Janome is an absolute workhorse. The Accufeed Walking foot system is absolutely amazing. This took 22 hours to quilt alone and the machine never complained once ! I love her and now also own in addition her bigger sister the Continental M8 too. So I can do two projects on the go at the same time knowing both will stitch out perfectly !
