Memory Cushion

I was asked by a friend to create a cushion using a jacket. I decided on a box cushion, using the ribbed cuffs and waistband for the boxed edge. I moved a pocket up to the chest area, to give the option for other sentimental items to be stored. This is the first memory cushion I’ve made, and I’m happy with how I’ve designed it so that it still resembles the jacket. I’ve still to make the cushion inner, which I will pad with fabric from other cherished fabric items.
