Quilt top for a charity

I make quilts with fabrics provided by Quilts for Care Leavers (Q4CL). This is the completed quilt top made from 6.5 inches of 100% cotton in a variety of patterns.

I have added a 3-inch border to the edges in the same fabric as the stars. The blocks were stitched together in rows, and then each row was joined together. I now have to back the quilt and line it with the wadding.

I am going to use the Novum Pro Q9 sewing machine to add free-motion embroidery before finally adding the binding. I hope the new recipient will gain comfort and warmth from the quilt.
