For Novum Combi Coverstitch Bias Tape Binding Foot
The Coverstitch Bias Tape Binding Foot is designed to neatly apply and secure bias tape to fabric edges using a coverstitch machine. It guides the tape evenly over the edge while stitching, ensuring a clean, consistent finish on both sides.
Ideal for finishing necklines, armholes, and hems, this foot reduces the need for manual folding and helps maintain accuracy, especially on stretch fabrics. It provides a quick and efficient way to achieve a professional-quality bound edge.
Suitable for the Novum Combi 4070 Overlock & Cover Hem.
Bias Tape Binding Foot Instructions.
Select “Coverstitch.”
Attach the presser foot with the flange stacker.
Ensure the flange width is set between 1″ and 1 1/4″ (25–28 mm).
Feed the edging into the stacker
Draw approximately 2″ (5 mm) of trim behind the presser foot.
Lower the foot and sew a few test stitches.
Raise the presser foot and insert the fabric from the left into the hem.
Lower the foot again and continue stitching.
