The Coverstitch Flat Edge Lace Foot is designed to neatly attach lace along fabric edges using a coverstitch machine.
It holds both the lace and fabric in place, ensuring accurate alignment and smooth feeding during stitching.
Ideal for decorative garment finishes, this foot allows lace to be applied flat without twisting or puckering.
It helps achieve a clean, even, and professional result with minimal effort.
- Select “Coverstitch Wide.”
- Fit the needles for a wide coverstitch.
- Attach the presser foot designed for attaching lace.
- Feed the lace from the right into the guide, positioning it approximately 1″ (25 mm) behind the needles.
- Fold the fabric edge to 1/4″ (6 mm).
- Insert the folded fabric from the left into the guide, ensuring the lace sits underneath the fabric.
- Lower the presser foot and begin stitching.
