This presser foot is ideal for sewing tight corners, working up against a ridge, and other similar situations.
It is especially useful for sewing lightweight and fine fabrics, sewing in very tight areas, or attaching zippers.
To use it, pull the upper thread under the presser foot through the slit in the foot. Place the fabric under the presser foot, using the fabric plate guidelines to ensure proper seam allowance, and sew your seam.
Always test on a scrap piece of fabric to determine the necessary presser foot pressure and to adjust the stitch length. For very lightweight fabrics, use lighter presser foot pressure and the pin feed option.
