The Heavy Weight Foot is perfect for sewing heavier and thicker fabrics such as canvas, faux fur, toweling, and quilted materials.

It helps avoid applying excessive pressure to the fabric. The front part of the foot, known as the “toe,” is angled to facilitate the easy feeding of thicker fabrics under the foot.
